Tailgate Beer is a craft brewery based in Nashville, Tennessee and specialises in experimental, small batch and seasonally appropriate craft beer. Watermelon Wheat is their take on a fruit weissbier.
Brewed with Centennial hops and 2-Row and Wheat malt, it pours a hazy golden with a fluffy white head, typical for the style.
The aroma is dominated with watermelon with yeast and grain and follows through to the flavour with a hint of wheat behind it. A refreshing hit of summertime in a can.
