The Joel Gott Riesling has aromas of key lime, stone fruit, honey, and jasmine. The wine is round on the palate with mouthwatering acidity and a lingering minerality on the finish. We continue to choose Washington for Riesling because of its ideal climate. Large diurnal swings are cause for a long hang time, giving the flavors time to mature, preventing sugar levels from getting too high, and helping to retain natural acidity in the fruit. The Columbia Valley’s typical cool mornings, warm afternoons, and cool evenings are ideal conditions for intense aroma and flavor development in the fruit.
