True to its growing season, Drouhin’s Dundee Hills is a medium-deep garnet color, with a dark core. On the nose, the wine is refined, with clear notes of spice, rose, black cherry, plum, and sweet red fruits, all wrapped in an earthiness that lends a surprising rustic touch. On the palate, the aromatics follow through with layered spice, white pepper, dark cherry, and blackberry, framed by youthful tannins. The finish is long and the texture has real depth. Expect the wine to age for 10-12 years or more.
Pairs with Game, Beef, Veal, Poultry.
