This wine is redder than a blushing lobster. On the nose, it shows inviting aromas of strawberry-laced crème brûlée, chaparral, and exotic cherry. At first glance this titian treat coils up with flavors of black plum, kola-nut spice and nori. It then strikes intensely with fangs of unearthed truffle and berry cobbler with crumbled bacon and sea salt. The finish is velvety and alive with wild strawberry, rhubarb, and a sliver of dark chocolate.
