Our authentic Argentine Chardonnay wine is an especially expressive and polished take on this popular white wine, with a taste that’s greatly influenced by the warm days and cold nights of Mendoza.
With our high elevation vineyards, our Chardonnay vines experience intense sunlight days and very cool and crisp nights, a sizeable temperature shift that preserves the fruit’s incredible acidity while still giving us full, ripe flavors. The result is a lush, complex, food-friendly Chardonnay that features tropical and citrus notes and a refreshing palate, with added weight from partial malolactic fermentation and subtle oak aging. Its balance of richness and acidity is one of Argentina’s unique hallmarks, a product of our adventurous winegrowing locations.
Our Alamos Argentinian Chardonnay offers layered aromas of tropical fruit, apple, vanilla and citrus blossom. On the full and round palate, flavors of pear, pineapple, and fig are balanced by attractive notes of caramel, toast and sweet brown spice. A lingering finish is accented by clean acidity and citrus zest.
