Story
The town of Lodi sits in the middle of California's vast central valley. Zinfandel vineyards fan out around the town on soils deposited by rivers running from the Sierra Nevadas to the pacific. The berries are picked, destemmed, crushed, and fermented in stainless steel with regular pump overs. After fermentation is complete the wine is matured for 8 months prior to bottling.
Taste
Bright purple in color with expressive red fruit, floral aromas, and a touch of spice. The wine is medium to full bodied, weighty, and smooth, like a bowling ball on a silk pillow.
